I put in a vent like this and it works fabulously to bring in cool air! Positioned my 12 volt refrigerator in front of it. Thank you for the great idea!

Great to hear from you! Another confirmation how much difference such a vent can make. It should reduce the load on your batteries substantially. You may also consider adding a (computer) fan and extra insulation to the fridge.
