Still have a small piece of window, next to the storage closet that needs to be finished. I’ll install a window frame/sill made from Hard Maple and add a plywood cover around it. Later I will use an automotive tweed to finish it. The corners of the frame are made differently than those of the window at the Murphy Bed , but give a similar result.

Hi, I really admire your woodworking. So much attention to detail. I also have a Ford Transit that I want to convert. I don’t think I could attempt to make those rounded corners on my window frames but I must say, beautiful job!
I’ve gotten some great ideas from your videos that will help me in my process. I’m sure by the end of my build I will have watched them all. Thank you for posting them.
Thank you for posting. This build is all about experience, confidence and satisfaction. With little experience, you perhaps should not start with these rounded window frames, yet before the end of your build, you may reconsider 🙂 It’s so satisfying to accomplish something that you have never done before.
Wish I could follow your build from afar, but a few pics after the build are always appreciated 🙂
Good luck and enjoy.
