Cutting Poly-Iso
After having done the preparation by removing the tie-downs and by applying sound insulation to the wheel wells and preparing to cut the plywood by making paper templates. The next step is cutting the insulation boards.
Types and amounts of insulation have always been a controversial subject amongst us DIY’ers and in all probability there is not one right solution.
For me affordability, R-value and ease of installation are primary objectives, but as the interior height in my medium high roof van is limited, the amount of insulation material that I can put under the sub-floor is minimal.

Haven’t heard of Prodex before, but a quick search did not give me much confidence. The materials used in this product have a generally lower R-value and some product documentation that I read, seems to be calculating R-values based on adjoining air cavities, not on the product itself. Lots of misspelled words too.
I’m not an expert at this and cannot advise as such, but if you plan to use this product, do your own thorough research, read reviews and check the BBB.
